Kinsella wrote and published his first fiction novel, Chain of Deception in 2015. He is working on his second novel, First Ransom in that series.
He is also working on a creative non-fiction piece that recounts a part-time job that he had in high school where he figuratively, but unexpectedly, went back in time to learn about the basic instincts of humanity that have impacted him throughout his entire life. Readers of this creative non-fiction piece will journey back in time to experience how a small group of people from the Greatest Generation could have such a powerful impact on an unsuspecting high-schooler working behind the soda fountain, in the back of a pharmacy, in a sleepy town in northern Illinois.
The podcasts found on this website are recorded at the request of many of Kinsella's students that he has taught for over 20 years at the college level. These podcasts are for the many students who have graduated and/or gone on to graduate school who wish to revisit the class discussions where they not only learned about American and world history but many life lessons as well.
